parts are fragments of a whole, a whole body and brain. everybody makes mistakes, and sometimes some systems are problematic. systems making mistakes take system accountability, meaning all parts take responsibility for a part(s) causing trouble while in front. an analogy to use; if a part commits a crime, another part cannot switch and place the blame on that part.

WHAT ABOUT INTERNALLY?

internal problamacy in systems doesn't exist as the inner-world is psuedo, or not real, and is an imaginary visualisation tool. however, parts causing harm to other parts (under the same logic of all parts make a whole), would classify as self harm.

OSDDID is a mental disorder, always comorbid with C-PTSD. we can yet again use the all parts are fragments of a whole logic on this too. whatever mental conditions the brain has, every part will also display symptoms of. this also applies to disabilities, including physical ones.

HOW CAN THIS PLAY PART IN ALTERS?

with those conditions [brain], parts may experience them differently. they may experience conditions differently by level of intensity or being symptom holders. this also applies to how parts process symptoms.

age, race, height, species, etc. are all physical attributes, and cannot be changed or be changed immediately. this applies to systems too. the inner-world being pseudo debunks the theory of parts being able to be a different race alongside with everything else.

introjects are parts that are split copies of sourced media. this includes factual, to fictional, and some can be both. introjects can split from any source there is to imagine.

IMPORTANT

it is important to remember to never treat an introject as they are their source - that encourages dissociation and is debunking the idea parts are their own selves. some introjects may be attached to their source and keep their source name, however is no excuse to treat them as such. it is important to note to also not harshly reality-check source-attached introjects, and let them detach on their own.

every system has an evil, serial killer alter - this is one of the most popular and worst stereotypes, and happens to be extremely false. it's actually more likely for systems to be victims than the criminal.
OSDDID is very rare - not necessarily, and even if it was possibly only .1-1% of the population, that is a huge number of people.
OSDDID only shows up in adulthood - you are thinking of how well one with it can hide in different parts of their life. it may be harder to hide it in adulthood, but overall, the disorder isn't supposed to be noticeable. it can only develop before the identity integrates.
systems aren't supposed to know they have it - it would technically be really good for one to know if they have it, an extreme form of C-PTSD going unrecognised will cause a lot of problems.
systems shouldn't self diagnose - OSDDID doesn't have anything to do with hormonal changes; it can overlap some disorders like schizophrenia, bipolar, and BPD, however with tons of research self-diagnosis is not a bad thing to do. it is hard to professionally diagnose OSDDID.
introjects are super rare/impossible - introjects, when talking about forming as one, is rare. most usually latch onto a source during development (this is called a delusional misidentification), though are still classifyable as introjects. definitely not impossible!
there is a limit for alter amount - yes and no. minimal limit is 2, and you cannot have infinite parts, however there is not a recorded whole number maximum.
it's okay to fake-claim - it's never okay to fake-claim a system, no matter how 'suspicious' they are displaying their symptoms. believe before proven guilty.
